The Foundation of Our Company
PROTECTING, PRESERVING, AND IMPROVING STANDS OF TIMBER
As a young man Camelot Wright stepped into the Timber Industry after completing his Degree in Forestry at the University of Purdue. Logging has always been the family business, so he ventured into helping. Business always came natural to him.
Fast-forward to 2017 he took a leap of faith and went on his own. Having had the past 30 years of knowledge he had the roots to grow. Eventually a team was formed.
Today, Farmboys is a super productive logging company. We have one big logging crew with professionals over-seeing the operation. We are a Fully Mechanized Logging Operation and Low impact.
TIMBER SHOWCASE
EXPLORE OUR WORK
Take a visual tour of our Timber Harvesting. We use Feller Bunchers (Cutting Machines) to drop trees into an open area placing them on top of each other to effectively minimize the chance of damaging future trees. The trees are then bunched in a pile along a skid trail. Carefully, our operators grab the trees with ease without causing any unnecessary damage. The trees are then skidded to the Log Landing where the Knuckle Boom cuts them to length and are then placed onto a Semi to go to the Log Yard or Local Mills.

Forest Management
Effective forest management is crucial for the health of timber stands. We offer comprehensive forest management solutions to enhance the quality and growth of forests. We specialize in selective-harvesting. Check out our TSI under (more) above.
Wildlife Habitat Improvement
We specialize in creating and enhancing wildlife habitats within timber stands, promoting biodiversity and future regeneration. We can add ponds, create openings for food plots, and cut lanes for a future hunting stand.
Reforestation
Most Stands of Timber have many different species. When you open up the forest canopy with a harvest it helps bring in sunlight. When this happens White Oak seedlings tend to flourish. White Oak is a valuable specie and that is why many State Parks in the Midwest are mostly White Oak because they've been harvested and managed many years ago.
